Rishi Kapoor a Bollywood star away at the age of 67 

Raised in Mumbai into the Kapoor dynasty of film, commonly known as Bollywood’s first generation, he became the son of the famous theater and movie star Prithviraj, the legendary Actor-Reader Raj. In the 2000s, Kapoor went on to supporting roles after decades of becoming a leading man.

He made his first appearance in movies at the age of three in Shree 420 – Made his acting debut in Mera Naam Joker (1970) – His first role as an adult came in the iconic Bobby (1973) – He went on to play the romantic lead in 92 films between 1973 and 2000 – He was last seen in The Body, an official remake of Spanish film El Cuerpo

The first cancer was identified by Rishi Kapoor in 2018 and the actor was on medication in New York for about a year. In September 2019, he moved to India.On April 29, 2020, after breathing difficulty, Kapoor was admitted to SirH.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. He died 30 April 2020 in Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor left his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni bereaved, as he died on Thursday morni after a two-year long battle with cancer. His funeral took place at the Chandanwa crematorium on Thursday evening in the presence of family members and close friends. Riddhima, who lives in Delhi, could not make it to the funeral in Mumbai. Ridhima wrote, Ridhima shared a selfie with Rishi, “Love your dad.
