Maharashtra Board HSC 12th & SSC 10th Exam Results 2020: Key Dates and Insights          
Maharashtra board exam results 2020 have been delayed due to Covid-19 lockdown in the district. The outcome is expected to be out by July 1st.

Earlier, Maharashtra board was expected to declare Class 10 results on June 10, but it was delayed due to nationwide COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Maharashtra is actually the worst affected state in India due to an infection with coronavirus. Examiners were allowed to carry home reply sheets to ensure evaluation could continue. In addition, the High Court directed the Board to release the results of the state board examinations by June 10, 2020, in the month of May. The board is now working to announce results by the first half of July, as the country has now relaxed various lockdown laws.

Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 – According to media reports, the results of Maharashtra SSC were postponed and are now expected to be out by July 1st week. Online at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in or mahresult.nic.in the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) declares the result. Students need to sign in to test it using roll number and the name of their mother. Students need to get 35 marks in each subject to pass the exam. To Check HSC 12th & SSC 10th Result Then Visit.The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHE) is preparing to soon declare results for Maharashtra SSC and HSC in 2020. Due to rising cases of coronavirus and lockdown in the state, the board has postponed publishing of Class 10 and Class 12 results. As of now, no clarification has been made on when MSBSHSE will announce the results of the 2020 SSC and HSC exams. An official from the department of state education said they are likely to be announced by the first week of July 2020 because the lockdown is until June 30th, 2020.

Students are expected to visit the official mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in web site. Students need to click their respective class link on the website homepage and then log in by entering their roll number, mother’s name, etc. Finally , students must click on the result view button after which they will be able to test the result from the screen.

Yet, Maharashtra is India’s worst-hit coronavirus state. The board generally declares the result in the month of May-June but the answer scripts evaluation can not be completed on time due to lockdown. The board declared the result of Maharashtra HSC last year on May 28, while the result of the SSC examination was announced on June 8.

Earlier, the Department of Education decided to require teachers to take the response sheets home for evaluation. Currently, however, there is no way to send the answer scripts to examiners, so the work can only start after the lockdown is finished.

For Geography paper cancelled by Maharashtra SSC, it was decided that the students would consider passed on the basis of the marks obtained in the other five subjects. On March 23 that was cancelled by the MSBSHSE due to increasing cases of coronavirus in the state, as many as 17 lakh students were going to sit for a Geography paper. The board also cancelled the test for special needs educational subjects that are administered for students. Therefore, on the vocational papers that were cancelled, the same law of average score would apply.

Last year as many as 13 lakh students appeared for HSC exam and 17 lakh students took SSC exam. Students need to obtain 35 per cent marks in each subject for SSC and HSC exams in order to be declared qualified. After the result has been announced, the ones who pass
